This is a translation of the Turkish notice issued under Turkish law. If the two differ, the Turkish text prevails.
What this notice covers
Under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), this notice explains how your personal data is processed when you reach us through hekzon.com or our other contact channels.
Data controller
The data controller is Yakup Akyar ("Hekzon"). You can reach us at info@hekzon.com.
Personal data we process
When you fill in the contact form or write to us, we process:
- Identity: your first and last name
- Contact: your email address and, if provided, your phone number and company name
- Request details: the topic you are interested in and the content of your message
- Transaction security: your IP address, browser information and the result of the security check
Purposes of processing
We process your data to:
- Respond to your enquiry and prepare a proposal
- Conduct discussions aimed at entering into a contract with you
- Prevent misuse of the form and automated (bot) submissions
- Fulfil our legal obligations
Legal grounds
Your data is processed on the following grounds under Article 5(2) of the KVKK: (c) it is directly related to entering into or performing a contract, (ç) it is necessary to fulfil our legal obligations, and (f) it is necessary for our legitimate interests, provided this does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms.
How we collect it
Your data is collected electronically when you fill in the contact form on hekzon.com or reach us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
Transfers
To the extent needed for the purposes above, your data is transferred to our infrastructure providers: Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) for hosting, security checks and email forwarding, and Google LLC (USA) for email. Because their servers may be located abroad, such transfers are made in accordance with the procedures set out in Article 9 of the KVKK. Your data may also be shared with competent public authorities where required by law.
Retention
Data related to your enquiry is kept for at most two years after your enquiry is resolved. If we enter into a contract with you, the data is kept for the periods required by the applicable legislation. When the period ends, the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right:
- To learn whether your personal data is processed
- To request information about the processing
- To learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used accordingly
- To know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom the data is transferred
- To request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
- To request deletion or destruction of the data under the conditions of Article 7 of the KVKK
- To request that corrections, deletions and destructions be notified to the third parties the data was transferred to
- To object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis
- To claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing
